Safety Bar Kit

Well secured by a sturdy outer bar, up to two children aged 1 to 7 years can be transported on the carrier in conjunction with a child seat (DIN EN 14344 / ASTM F1625). In this case, the rear child seat has a maximum load capacity of 10 kg. A second bar can be held on to, so that the children’s hands and arms remain safely inside. The sideloader acts as a footrest – over short distances, it can also occasionally be used to attach larger pieces of luggage or to transport a children’s bike (16-20", max. 11 kg). The spoke guard prevents any accidental contact with the spokes. A bipod stand ensures that the bike stands securely.If the weight rating of the carrier (max. 65 kg) is not exceeded, a child in a child seat (DIN EN 14344 / ASTM F1625) can be carried along with a passenger aged 7 years or older. In this case, the child seat has a maximum load capacity of 10 kg and needs to be fitted in the rear position. Safely carry up to two older children from 7 to 9 years of age in the Safety bar kit (not permitted with HS bikes).
